Make plans to kick off the New Year at the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Awards Dinner & Auction. This festive evening will be held on January 22, 2010 at the
Balboa Bay Club & Resort.
Open to the public, the gala will honor the winners of the Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights competitions, and raise funds for next year’s parade. All award winners will receive two complimentary tickets to the event.
In addition to the awards ceremony, guests will have the opportunity to take part in an incredible live and a silent auction. There will be hundreds of unique items to choose from including: travel excursions, weekend getaways, fine dining, rare jewelry, art, hotel stays and just about anything else you can imagine. Whether you are a seasoned bidder or a novice, there’s sure to be an item you will want to take home. And once the auction is over, throw on your dancing shoes as you enjoy the fabulous live entertainment.
The event always features a great Grand Prize. This year, this special Grand Prize Drawing, arranged by Henry Schielein of the Balboa Bay Club, is a 10-day trip featuring luxurious stays at ten (10) of Germany’s finest cities and hotels, including:
